Burgundy and Blush Fall Wedding at
T-Lazy 7 Ranch in Aspen
Effortless luxury in beautiful Aspen.
This stunning September Aspen wedding took place at the picturesque T-Lazy 7 Ranch. It’s weddings like this that make me happy to be a wedding florist. The bride chose a timeless burgundy and blush palette that was perfect for fall flowers in Colorado. Late summer and fall is dahlia season and we used some of the most gorgeous dahlias I have ever seen! Our friends at Stevens and Sons Wholesaler got us some seriously gorgeous flowers.
The bride wore a beautiful long sleeve lace gown from Bridal Extraordinaire. The bridesmaids wore simple and elegant Bill Levkoff burgundy dresses (why yes that’s me on the far left in the first picture).
Now, let talk flowers! The bride’s bouquet was burgundy and filled with dahlias, garden roses, astilbe, scabiosa, and greenery. This was a very special bouquet which had one yellow rose to represent her late father as well as her father’s wedding ring tied into the bouquet ribbon. The bouquet was so sentimental and beautiful. The bridesmaid bouquets were smaller versions of the bride with some pale pink flowers mixed in for contrast.
The ceremony location needed little decor (check out that view!!) But we decided to frame the space by using large urns filled with hydrangea, dahlias, and curly willow branches. The reception decor featured dramatic tall floral arrangements and short floral arrangements, plenty of candles and a fresh greenery garland to accent the stage. The head table was accented with a fresh floral and greenery garland as well. The cocktail hour tables featured STUNNING dinnerplate dahlias in blush and burgundy.
Being a bridesmaid and a florist was a blast and I am so grateful to have created the floral for this wedding! If you need a florist for your destination wedding, give me a shout!
As I always say, “will travel for flowers”.
